Nearly Four Decades of Person-Centred Care

Brookholme Care Home has been a trusted part of the Chesterfield community for nearly 40 years. Set on Somersall Lane, our converted home provides a warm, familiar setting where residents receive genuinely personal care from a team that knows them well.

Operated by Rosecare Chesterfield Limited under the leadership of Registered Manager Mrs Donna Louise Redman, Brookholme offers 40 single bedrooms across two floors connected by a passenger lift. Twelve of our rooms are en-suite, and all are designed to feel like home rather than an institution.

We are proud holders of the Investors in People Award and have been recognised by Derbyshire County Council with Premium Quality Payments, reflecting the consistently high standard of care we deliver every day.

Care Built Around You

Whether you are looking for a permanent home, specialist dementia support, or a short-term respite stay, Brookholme provides warmth, companionship, and attentive personal care tailored to every individual.

Residential Care

Our core service. 40 single bedrooms in a home that has served Chesterfield since 1987. Person-centred care plans, skilled and experienced staff, four separate lounges, a conservatory, and beautiful gardens. Every resident is treated as an individual with their own needs, preferences, and routines.

Dementia Care

Specialist dementia care is one of our core strengths. Our staff receive ongoing training in structured daily routines, calm and reassuring communication techniques, memory-enhancing activities, and personalised care strategies. We create an environment of safety, familiarity, and gentle stimulation that supports people living with dementia to maintain their quality of life.

Respite Care

Short-term stays for when a family carer needs a well-earned break, or to support recovery after a hospital stay. Respite residents receive the same warmth, attention, and personalised care as every permanent resident. It is also a wonderful way to experience life at Brookholme before making a longer-term decision.
